Calzone with Sausage and Mushrooms and Herbs
Description: This recipe is displayed on the package of our new Tillamook 8 oz. Finely Shredded Italian blend of mozzarella, parmesan and smoked provolone cheese.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. 

Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in large skillet over medium high. Add onions and cook until soft. Add mushrooms, and cook until moisture has evaporated. Stir in garlic, sausage and pepper: sauté until sausage is cooked through. Place in bowl to cool. Add cheese and mix well.

Divide dough into 4 equal pieces and roll into 8" circles. Divide filling and place in center of each circle. Fold in half and crimp edges to seal. Brush with remaining oil and cut a slit in top of each. Place on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until browned. Heat sauce and serve on side.

2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 pound Italian sausage
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 8 oz. package Tillamook® Finely Shredded Italian with mozzarella, parmesan and smoked provolone cheese
1 pound pizza dough
1 (16 ounce) jar marinara sauce
