Cheesy Baked Ziti
Description: This hearty dish is a creamy commingling of familiar Italian foundation flavors like marinara sauce, pasta and, of course, cheese! Makes a perfect weekday dinner en famille!

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degree F.  Boil the pasta in 6-8 quarts of water until done, but still slightly firm.         

To make the cream sauce heat the butter and heavy cream over medium high heat in a 1-2 quart sauce pan.  Stir frequently.  When the mixture starts to bubble, stir in the nutmeg and Parmesan cheese.  Reduce heat to medium and cook for 3 minutes more, stir frequently. 
  
Grease a large 13x9x2-inch baking dish with olive oil.  Pour pasta into baking dish.  Add marinara sauce, cream sauce and shredded mozzarella Cheese to the pasta, stir well.  Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.  Bake for 25 minutes until bubbling.  Bake an additional 5 minutes or under the broiler for 5 minutes to crisp the top if needed.

Serves 6.

Ingredients:

1 16-ounce package of Ziti or other tube-shaped pasta
        
For Cream Sauce:         
1 tablespoon Tillamook® Butter        
1 1/2 cups heavy cream        
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg        
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese        

1 jar marinara sauce (22 ounces)        
1 tablespoon olive oil        
2 cups Tillamook® Shredded Mozzarella Cheese        
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese        
1/2 cup bread crumbs        
Salt and pepper to taste
