Grilled Tuna Sandwich with Cheddar & Tomato and Lemony Mayonnaise
Description: This recipe is displayed on the back of our new Tillamook 8 oz. Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese package.

Instructions:
In medium bowl mix together tuna, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice and zest.

Lay 3 slices of bread on work surface. Divide cheese into 3 portions. Top each slice with 1/2 cheese portion, 2 tomato slices, 1/3 tuna mixture and remaining cheese portion. Top each with bread slice and press gently. Spread each with 1 teaspoon butter. Place sandwich butter side down in pan. Cook slowly until golden. Spread each top piece with remaining butter, turn and cook until second side is golden.

Makes 3 sandwiches

Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
6 slices French bread
1 cup Tillamook® Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
6 (¼ inch thick) slices tomato
2 tablespoons Tillamook® Salted Butter, softened
